How Long Will You Play For?

Typically, the band will perform for 3 hours with a 45 min break between sets. Music is provided during any breaks. This of course is completely flexible to suit your event. i.e if you want a shorter band performance and an extended disco or more breaks for buffets/raffles/cutting the cake etc. It's your night so don't be afraid to tell us exactly what you want and we will do our best to accommodate.

How Long Will You Need To Set Up?

Around an hour but the earlier the band can set up the better - this is especially true of venues that are tricky to access with heavy equipment.

Do You Do Requests?

If it's in our Song List then we will be more than happy to play requests. If there is a particular song that you want the band to play at your event then let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. If there is a song you would like at the break or disco then it's not a problem to ask one of the band to cue it up for you.

Can My Auntie Morag/Uncle Frank get up and sing with the band?

It's great if your guests/attendees want to sing - If it's in our song list then we will be more than happy to accommodate - Failing that we have over 20,000 songs available on our karaoke system. Especially helpful if Auntie Morag has been hitting the Sherry and can't remember the words!

Can My Uncle Jimi/Auntie Clapton get up and jam with the band?

Sadly no, It's not that we wouldn't want to have a jam with other musicians but our insurance doesn't cover our equipment for such things. C'est La Vie!

How Much Does It Cost To Hire Milestone?

We pride ourselves on our value for money - we realise that it can sometimes be a stretch to have a Live Band when a DJ will always be cheaper but there is nothing quite like live music to make an event memorable especially because with a function booking with Milestone you get a DJ set included as standard. Our fees vary depending on the type of event, how long you require us to play for, the distance involved in getting to the venue and also if you require a Karaoke, Disco etc. The more information you have available when contacting us then the more accurate your quote will be but we guarantee to beat any other quote for the services provided.  We also offer Special rates for Charity nights/Fundraisers.

Can We Come See You Play Live?

Of course! we are happy to provide you with locations and dates for you to come hear us or alternatively check our Facebook page to see where we are playing next.

How Far Will You Travel?

The band are based in Midlothian and are willing to travel anywhere but of course if it requires overnight accomodation, excessive travelling time or additional expenses, then that will be added in to the cost of hiring the band. We will try to be as flexible as we can.

Ok, You've Sold Me, How Do I Book Milestone?

Simple - all our contact details are here:  Contact Us Just email or call with your booking inquiry and we will get back to you ASAP. If you are happy with the quoted price and want to secure your booking a deposit of £150 is required. This is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation from yourself. If the event is postponed or dates moved then we will try our best to accommodate the new dates within a reasonable period, if not then i'm afraid you will also lose your deposit. Payment of deposit acts as acceptance of our terms as described on this page - simple, clear and no hidden catches.

In the extremely rare event that the band are unable to fulfil a secured booking then a full refund will of course be given and a suitable replacement band found for you. We treat your bookings very seriously and are always available for a chat if you require any information about a booking and will endeavour to answer your emails within 24hrs. We are also available to book through several agencies (Hireaband, Coast and Freak Music) - however our agency bookings are only from 8-12pm without prior agreement.
